General terms and conditions

* Welcome to the website of kitkiwi.com. We provide its services to you subject to the notices, terms, and conditions set forth in this agreement (the “Agreement”). In addition, when you use any kitkiwi.com service (e.g., Customer Reviews), you will be subject to the rules, guidelines, policies, terms, and conditions applicable to such services, and they are incorporated into this Agreement by this reference. kitkiwi.com reserves the right to change this site and these terms and conditions at any time.

Website Access

* It is not necessary to register with us in order to use this website.
* This website may be used for your own private purposes and in accordance with these terms of use.
* You may print and download material from this website provided that you do not modify or reproduce any content without our prior written consent.

Price and Ordering

* Orders are accepted via telephone, email and Facebook. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods ordered are not available, you will be notified by e­mail or telephone (or by other means if no e­mail address has been provided) and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available from stock or to cancel your order.
* Any orders placed by you will be treated as an offer to purchase the goods or services from us and we have the right to reject such offers at any time.
* You acknowledge that any automated acknowledgment of your order which you may receive from us shall not amount to our acceptance of your offer to purchase goods or services advertised on the Website.
* The conclusion of a contract between you and us will take place when we (i) debit your credit, debit card or PayPal account or (ii) dispatch the goods to you or commence the services, whichever is the later, at which time we shall send you an e­mail confirming that the contract has been concluded (‘Dispatch Confirmation‘).
* The contract will relate only to those goods or services whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other goods or services which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such goods or services has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.
* We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from the Website.
* You will assume the risk for the products once they have been delivered to the delivery address which you specified when ordering the products. We accept no liability where you provide an incorrect delivery address or where you fail to collect the products from the delivery address which you specified.

Payment Gateway

* We will charge your credit account for payment upon receipt of your order.
* Paypal, Orbit Remit, Bank Tranfer payments are accepted.
* We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details.

 

Product Avaibility

* We always endeavour to have our product range in stock, but we do sometimes experience delays in our suppliers delivering to us. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you to inform you of any delay that we are aware of.
* Generally we only experience short delays in obtaining more stocks, we will do our best to ensure you are informed of progress. Of course, you always have the option of cancelling your order.

Cancellations – Unwanted Goods

* You may return unwanted goods for a full refund of the original paid amount at any time within 14 days, starting the day after receipt of your goods. Exceptions to this are listed below.
* Where security tags exist on products, carefully inspect the product before removing the security tag. KITKIWI will not accept returned items where the security tags have been removed.
* Edible items with the exception of screw top containers where the seal has not been broken.
* KITKIWI will not refund mailing costs incurred in returning the goods. Goods must be returned to us in an “as new” re-saleable condition. It is advisable to use a recorded delivery service, or at a minimum obtain a proof of posting at the post office in the unlikely event the goods are lost in transit. You may wish to take out additional insurance for high value items.

Delivery & Uncollected Parcels

* We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated time scales. Please be aware that delays are occasionally inevitable due to busy periods and unforeseen factors.
* KITKIWI will not be held responsible for delivery delays beyond our reasonable control, for example: strike action, 3rd party delays, traffic or weather constraints and therefore will not accept liability for late delivery under these circumstances.
* In the event of requests for goods to be left at unattended premises (for example – in a garage) or with neighbours KITKIWI will endeavour to do so at the customers own liability
* Our couriers agents will leave a note if you are not there to receive the parcel. It is your responsibility to call the delivery company to arrange a re-delivery or collect the parcel. You will be eligible for the cost of us re-sending the goods if the parcel is returned to us marked as ‘Not called for’. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and refunded.
* If a parcel is returned due to incorrect or insufficient address details provided on your order you will be eligible for the cost of resending the parcel. Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met.
* If your goods is damaged, we may ask for proof of the damage and a written statement so that we can proceed with a compensation claim against the courier.

Lost Goods & Refused Parcels

In the unlikely event you have not received your parcel within 3-20 working days we would first ask you to carry out the following checks:
That you have not been carded by our courier to collect from your local sorting office.
That it has not been left in or outside your home i.e. a meter cupboard, porch or left with a neighbor.
Having carried out the above checks please contact us by email to: kitkiwi4u@gmail.com stating your order reference, delivery address and contact details. We shall investigate lost packages with our courier partners and will arrange a replacement or full refund in the event the goods cannot be found. Please note we require a minimum of two working days to investigate lost packages with our couriers.
KITKIWI cannot be held liable for lost or damaged parcels where the customer supplies incorrect or insufficient address details provided on your order
